Jenna Elerick

Jenna loves working with seniors. Her passion began when she was in college, and worked at a local nursing home. There she realized it was her true calling. After graduating with a BS in Health Science/Health Education, she pursued management positions in home care.
Over her tenure she has done many jobs in senior care including caregiving, management, community outreach, sales, scheduling, and her last positions was as an Executive Director. She has over 10 years of experience in working with seniors; conducting assessments, meeting with families and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Jenna is compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable. She is able to put clients and family members at ease with her sweet and caring personality as well as with her extensive knowledge in senior care. She has participated in boards and groups which oversee senior care issues, and is active in her community. Over the years she has created a professional network of providers who work in assisted living communities, nursing homes, hospitals, home health and home care agencies. She has worked with hundreds of seniors and their families to provide the peace of mind and quality of care our seniors deserve.

A Maine native, Jennifer is originally from South Portland and has lived and worked throughout the state. The passion that Jennifer has for advising seniors and their families began during her own journey with her mother. While trying to find a rehab community for her, she experienced firsthand the many challenges that seniors and their loved one’s face during what can be a stressful transition.
She quickly realized there is often a lack of support and overall guidance for such an important decision. The correct information can be difficult to find and very daunting for families during this crucial time. This experience created a real desire in Jennifer to find a way to help and support members of the senior community faced with similar situations. Motivated by this, Jennifer partnered with Jenna and together they created Coastal Transitions of Maine, to help Maine seniors and their families navigate through this. She brings over 20 years’ experience in marketing, customer service, and public relations and her genuine compassion, care and concern for Maine Seniors and their families make her the perfect advocate. Her natural passion for helping others, optimistic approach, and attention to detail make Jennifer an invaluable asset to those seeking guidance in making this very critical choice regarding senior care.
